Simple berry smoothie bowl recipe

For anyone who is obsessed with these photogenic bowls of happiness, so are we! Smoothie bowls are great for any occasion, whether it’s something sweet that you are craving, you need a boost of vitamins, or you’re just not feeling in the mood to cook a full meal!

The greatest thing about smoothie bowls is that they are super versatile so you can literally put anything in them and they still taste AMAZING!

Here’s the recipe for the berry flavoured Smoothie Bowl I made earlier, but feel free to add or take away other things depending on what you enjoy most! Have some fun with it and get creative!

You will need:

  • A blender or food processor

  • Frozen berries (1 cup)

  • Vanilla protein powder (1 scoop)

  • Almond milk (½ a cup)

  • Gluten free granola with seeds

  • Fresh berries

… and that’s all! To start, put the frozen berries in the blender along with your vanilla protein powder and plant milk. Only blend for a short period of time until the mixture has a similar consistency to ice cream. This is the base of your smoothie bowl.

Once you have placed the mixture into a bowl, you can then get creative with the toppings. I love to add gluten free granola with a mixture of seeds to bulk it up and add some extra nutrients. Then, slice up some fresh organic fruits and place them around the bowl!

Hope you enjoy making this delicious smoothie bowl, and make sure to send us pictures of yours!

Love and light, S x
